Willoughby Swim Club Inc.

Entries are due one week from today on Saturday, 14th January for the Speedo Sprint Meet, which will be held at SOPAC on 5th February and also for the SMNE Summer Sprint Qualifying Meet, which will also be held at SOPAC on the 18th February. This year the Speedo Sprint Heats will be having 100 time trials for swimmers aged 13 and over.
The attached flyers have the meet information. Please note that the entry fees for the Speedo Sprint meet is $5 per event while the entry fee for the SMNE Summer Sprint meet is $6 per event.
All entries should be emailed to this address: wsc.entries@gmail.com. Please include swimmer’s name, date of birth, event, event number and time. Payments should be made by online transfer into the Willoughby Swim Club bank account. Please use your surname as a reference and email me a copy of the receipt. If you are unable to make an online transfer, place cash in a labelled envelope in the club’s mailbox at the pool.

Knox Pymble is hosting a long course invitational on Sunday, December 4th, and Willoughby Swim club has been invited. Attached is the meet information flyer for more details. Warm up starts at 11:00 am with the meet beginning at 12:00 pm. It will finish no later than 5:00 pm so entries may be limited.
ENTRIES ARE DUE SUNDAY, 20TH NOVEMBER.

KPSC Qualifying Meet Program

Willoughby Swim Club is travelling to Canberra on the 10th and 11th December for the Canberra Christmas Classic. We will be travellling by bus on Saturday morning and returning Sunday evening.

Entries are due on Wednesday, 16th November, WHICH IS 8 DAYS FROM TODAY! Don’t leave your entries to the last minute.

Since we had a few difficulties with the new system that we trialled for the SMNE meet, we will not be using this system for Canberra. Instead, we are using our normal race procedure. That is, email your entries (name, date of birth, event #, event, and time) to this address: wsc.entries@gmail.com along with your payment receipt. Payment is by direct deposit to the Willoughby swim club account. Below is the Canberra meet information sheet, which you will need in order to complete your entries.
Please also email me your permission and medical release forms for the trip also below.If you do not have a scanner, you can put them in the club’s mailbox at the Leisure Centre.

Members, please note that you may enter the METSEA long distance meet on the Saturday as well as the last event, the 400 Freestyle of their 13/Over meet on the Sunday, 28th November, 2010 prior to the SMNE Championships. The METSEA 400 free will be swum in the early afternoon on the Sunday just before the Sydney Met North East Championships in which you will all be taking part. If you would like to enter the 400 free, add this event to your entries for the SMNE Championships. The 13/Ov boys 400 free is event 161 with a qualifying time of 5:27, The girls is event 162 with a qualifying time of 5:32. The cost per event is $5.50. All entries for both the METSEA long distance, the 400 Freestyle events and the SMNE Championships are due to Molly NO LATER THAN, 25TH OCTOBER, 2010.
