Below are the results of the Commonwealth Games Trials for Willoughby swimmers, Matthew Levy & Sian McGrouther, who performed brillantly, and former and clayton members Luke Trickett and Libby Lenton.
Our congratulations to Sam McConnell who will be representing Australia at The World School Games in Greece in June/July, 2006. Below is a quote from our roving reporter (a very proud Mum) on Sam’s achievement.
“An Australian team was selected from performances at the Pacific School Games to represent “School Sport Australia” at the World School Games in Greece. The tour dates are June/July 2006. There were 9 boys and 10 girls chosen from 15, 16 & 17 years age group and they will be swimming as one age group. There were also 25 Athletic competitors selected on the tour as well.”
